This document provides clients with the terms and conditions necessary for the use and security of the Evadat.ro website, booking, cancellation, online payment, information about escape room games in general, and about the escape rooms offered by Evadat.ro in particular. Participation in any of the games presented on this site represents the implicit acceptance by clients of all terms and conditions.
WEBSITE USE AND SECURITY
The Evadat.ro website is owned and operated by Evadat Games SRL, registered at the Bucharest Trade Registry under no. J40/15555/2017, tax ID 38200146, headquartered at Calea Șerban Vodă 193, Sector 4, Bucharest, hereinafter referred to as Evadat.ro.
These terms and conditions apply to the use of the website by any visitor and must be read carefully before any use.
Evadat.ro makes every effort to provide you with the most up-to-date and accurate information on the evadat.ro website.
You are not permitted to connect to the site or use the website in whole or in part for any purpose that is fraudulent, illegal, defamatory, harmful, or obscene.
Although Evadat.ro takes all appropriate measures to protect your information, the internet is not a 100% secure space. Evadat.ro is not liable to any person for direct or indirect, incidental damages, including (without limitation) lost profits or revenues, loss of opportunity, costs of replacement goods or services, loss or damage to data, or business interruption resulting from any use of the website.
By booking your game and making a purchase on this website, you and all players on your team agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Please ensure that all team players have read and understood all Terms and Conditions before proceeding with the game booking.
None of the articles in these terms and conditions are intended to affect your legal rights. All these terms and conditions are subject to Romanian law and any dispute or claim that cannot be resolved amicably will be settled by the Bucharest Municipal Court.
This website collects and stores your personal data that you provide to us. We will take all appropriate measures to protect your information and will not disclose it to any third party, in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679.
Evadat.ro assumes no liability for damages caused by the use of other websites that may have hyperlinks on the Evadat.ro website.
Evadat.ro has the right to modify any of the terms and conditions of this site from time to time to update them with current legislation.
THE ESCAPE ROOM GAME
Teams of 2 to 8 players can participate in an escape room game.
Minors under 14 years of age can participate in the game only in the presence of an adult.
Teams are recommended to arrive at the location 10-15 minutes before the reservation time. Participants will receive a brief presentation of the game and an instruction on the rules of conduct inside the escape room. In case of non-compliance with these rules, Evadat.ro reserves the right to interrupt the game without refunding its value.
Our escape games do not require special skills or knowledge. You do not need to use physical force.
Players assume full responsibility for any voluntary or involuntary action that causes physical or psychological distress.
Due to the nature of the game, video and audio recordings cannot be made in our escape rooms.
Participants understand and accept that the game is monitored live by Evadat.ro staff using surveillance cameras. Video monitoring of participants is necessary and used exclusively for the proper conduct of the game and for rapid intervention in situations of strict necessity.
Personal belongings (purses, bags, mobile phones, backpacks, laptops, food, and drinks) must be left in the lockers specially designed for participants. These cannot be taken into the escape room.
Participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted. In these cases, Evadat.ro reserves the right to cancel or interrupt the game immediately, without refunding its value. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. Access to the Evadat.ro location with any type of weapon is prohibited. Evadat.ro staff has the freedom to refuse access to clients who behave aggressively or inappropriately in the escape rooms and can stop the escape room game at any time without refunding its cost.
Participants agree to accept the confidentiality of scenarios, clues, puzzles, and all other game details. None of these elements will be made public by participants.
Evadat.ro may contact you for certain occasional offers and promotions, by email or phone.
Participation of persons suffering from medical conditions (claustrophobia, heart disease, panic attacks, asthma, epilepsy) that could affect their health after spending a maximum of 99 minutes in an enclosed space is at the sole responsibility of those persons. Evadat.ro assumes no responsibility for the participation of such persons in the game.
The person making the reservation assumes responsibility for informing other participants about our terms and conditions.
BOOKINGS
The price of a game is displayed on the website in Romanian Lei (RON), both in the Pricing section and in the Bookings section.
The price of a game consists of the room price and the per-player price.
The room price is fixed and directly proportional to the level of technology, authenticity, and uniqueness invested in the room.
The total per-player price is determined based on the number of players in the same reservation (maximum 8 players).
Bookings can be made online and by phone. In both cases, the reservation will be confirmed by an email containing all related information. If you have not received a confirmation email, please contact us by phone at +40 721 EVADAT (382328) or by email at [email protected].
The website is available in Romanian and English.
Only players who are at least 16 years old have the right to book a game.
Reservations cannot be transferred or resold for commercial purposes.
You are entirely responsible for correctly entering your data in the online booking form.
If the team is more than 15 minutes late for their reservation, Evadat.ro may refuse entry, and the amount paid will not be refundable.
Prices and promotions displayed on this site may be changed without prior notice.
Each team in a reservation must have at least 1 adult over 18 years of age. Adults in the team are responsible for taking care of team players under 14 years of age.
If there are players with mobility or accessibility issues, please let us know at the time of booking so we can take measures in advance to ensure they enjoy their experience without worry.
ONLINE PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
When booking one of our rooms, you have the option to pay by card.
By booking the experience and making a purchase on the Evadat.ro website, you declare that you have the card holder's permission.
Your card data processing is done through Netopia mobilPay.
Your reservation is confirmed only after payment has been made and you have received a booking confirmation email.
There are no refunds for online card payments for cancelled reservations; these will be rescheduled.
RESCHEDULING BOOKINGS
If you need to reschedule your reservation for any reason, please contact us by phone at 0721 EVADAT (382328) or by email at [email protected].
If you wish to cancel or reschedule a reservation paid online and you notify us at least 48 hours before the reservation time, but we cannot reschedule the reservation to a date that suits both parties, we will offer you a voucher for a later booking.
THE GAME
All team players will listen to and follow the Game Master's instructions at all times during the game. If any of these instructions are not followed, we reserve the right to stop the game and remove the team from the location, without compensation.
At no time is it necessary to use force during the game. If we determine that physical force is intentional, it will be considered a breach of our conditions and we will stop the game. If you intentionally damage anything, we reserve the right to claim damages.
VOUCHERS
A gift voucher is valid once payment is completed and a confirmation email has been received by you.
A gift voucher is valid for 6 months, starting from the day it was purchased.
We do not offer refunds for gift vouchers.
A voucher can be used for a single reservation.
